Basketball Recap: Montebello Comes Up Short

Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-4 loss at the hands of the Alhambra Moors. The match marked the Oilers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Montebello's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Alhambra, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montebello will welcome Bell Gardens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bell Gardens has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Alhambra, they will be playing at home against Schurr at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
