Softball Recap: Blair Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Blair walked away with it. They blew past the Norris Titans 8-0 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Blair's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlynn O'Neil, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.

The win was the fifth in a row for Blair, bringing their record up to 27-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Norris, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-11.

As of now, neither Blair nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
