The Hapeville Charter Hornets will face off against the Washington Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hapeville Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Hapeville Charter is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Therrell just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-3.

C Sinkfield was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That double was his first of the season. D Weaver was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Even though they lost, Hapeville Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Therrell only posted a batting average of .286.

Washington never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Business Engineering Science Tech last Friday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 12-4 win. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Washington back to even at 3-3. As for Hapeville Charter, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.

Everything went Hapeville Charter's way against Washington in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, as Hapeville Charter made off with a 17-4 win. Does Hapeville Charter have another victory up their sleeve, or will Washington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
