Football Recap: Phillips Academy Takes a Loss

Phillips Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 28-7 to the Salisbury School Crimson Knights. While losing is never fun, the Big Blue can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 111th in Massachusetts, while the Crimson Knights are ranked 32nd in Connecticut).

Phillips Academy's record now sits at 0-3. As for Salisbury School, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips Academy will face off against Kent School at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Salisbury School, they will square off against Deerfield Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
