Soccer Recap: Napa Takes a Loss

Napa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Sonoma Valley Dragons, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in January.

Napa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Sonoma Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Napa will welcome Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Casa Grande is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season. As for Sonoma Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Petaluma at 6:00 p.m.
