Recap: San Jacinto Tigers vs. King Wolves
This season hasn't been kind to the San Jacinto Tigers, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of King on Monday. San Jacinto has not had much luck with King recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
San Jacinto's loss came despite strong showings from Mary Oziengbe and Luv'lee Sadler. Oziengbe scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds, while Sadler dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Oziengbe scored a full 39.5% of San Jacinto's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
San Jacinto has fallen quite a ways from their 20-6 record last season and are now at 0-4. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
San Jacinto will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Knight at 2:40 p.m. on November 21st. As for King, they will square off against Sunny Hills at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Sunny Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
