Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshall). They strolled past the Lincoln Tigers with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 48-32. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Marshall found their leader in sophomore Bea C, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amaya Yanagita, who posted six points in addition to eight assists and four steals.

Marshall was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Marshall now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Marshall has already played their next matchup, a 43-32 defeat against Eagle Rock on the 29th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-29 loss against Wilson on the 29th.
