Football Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Maranatha Christian Academy lost against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles were beaten by the Ravens 56-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy found their leader in freshman Zaedyn Harper, who threw for 99 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. Ian Boos made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Maranatha Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian Academy will host Rossville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Ravens their first taste of in-conference action this season.
