Soccer Game Preview: Foothill Tech vs. Villanova Prep

The Foothill Tech Dragons will square off against the Villanova Prep Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill Tech's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Foothill Tech is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Thacher on Tuesday. Neither the Dragons nor the Toads could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Villanova Prep came up short against Grace on Tuesday, falling 5-1. Villanova Prep haven't had much luck with Grace recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Villanova Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. With that draw, Foothill Tech's record moves to 2-7-1.

Foothill Tech got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January of 2016 against Villanova Prep by a conclusive 5-0 score. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
