Football Recap: Manual Piles Up the Points Against Urbana

While Manual put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Urbana. The Rams breezed past the Tigers to the tune of 42-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Manual didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Admyre Thompson and Zanyia Lee-Young. Thompson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Manual back to even at 1-1. As for Urbana, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Manual wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 32-0 victory against Centennial on the 6th. As for Urbana, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-6 loss against Peoria on the 6th.
