Basketball Recap: Huntingdon Takes a Loss

Huntingdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The match between them and the Tyrone Golden Eagles didn't end well, with the Huntingdon Bearcats falling 54-37. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Huntingdon's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Tyrone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Huntingdon will host Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tyrone, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Guilfoyle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tyrone will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
