Basketball Recap: Woodland Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Fort Bragg

Woodland Christian extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Fort Bragg. They strolled past the Fort Bragg Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 54-40.

Woodland Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keziah Maldonado-Lemus, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Maldonado-Lemus is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Bailee Broward was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Maldonado-Lemus wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Woodland Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. Woodland Christian is 27-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Woodland Christian's win was their 16th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Fort Bragg, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14.
