Softball Recap: Omaha South Wins Going Away Against Omaha North

Omaha South got themselves on the board against Omaha North on Friday, but Omaha North never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Vikings. The Packers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Jocelyn Cabellos was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
