MMI Preparatory School snaps three-game streak of losses on the road

Recap: MMI Preparatory School vs. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake-Lehman, MMI Preparatory School were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 33-23 win over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech. This was payback for MMI Preparatory School, who suffered a 18-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was another big night for Bria Kringe, who scored 21 points along with five steals. That makes it 20 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of MMI Preparatory School's points.

MMI Preparatory School's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MMI Preparatory School will take on Weatherly at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully MMI Preparatory School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Juniata Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 17 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
