Basketball Recap: Castilleja's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Eastside College Prep wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Castilleja, they should've done a better job of containing Antonia Vlahos. The Castilleja Gators blew past the Eastside College Prep Panthers 45-21 on Tuesday thanks in part to Vlahos, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Her evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Rianne Sok, who posted nine points and five steals. Those nine points gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Castilleja and bumps their season record up to 12-2. As for Eastside College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.

Castilleja has already played their next contest (against Mercy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastside College Prep is taking a road trip to take on Crystal Springs Uplands at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
