Soccer Game Preview: Tulare Union vs. Lemoore

The Tulare Union The Tribe are taking a road trip to challenge the Lemoore Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tulare Union will head out to face Lemoore after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. Tulare Union took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tulare Western.

Meanwhile, Lemoore has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 21. They lost 4-0 to Hanford on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 954th, while the Bullpups are ranked 89th).

Tulare Union's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5-2. As for Lemoore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-3.

Tulare Union was able to grind out a solid victory over Lemoore in their previous matchup on January 9th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tulare Union since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
