Somers got themselves on the board against East Windsor on Saturday, but East Windsor never followed suit. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-0. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Brodie White, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep East Windsor off the board.

On the hitting side, Somers saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Hwalek, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Brandon Damboragian was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Somers' record is now 14-3. As for East Windsor, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Somers will host Coventry at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. East Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
