Basketball Recap: California Crosspoint Takes a Loss

California Crosspoint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Holy Names Monarchs, falling 46-8. The Rams lost against the Monarchs in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-22 score last time.

California Crosspoint's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

California Crosspoint will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holy Names on January 21, 2025. As for Holy Names, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-21 defeat against Making Waves Academy on the 10th.
