Kingsway is 1-9 against Gloucester Catholic since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Dragons will face off against the Rams at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Kingsway 3.6, Gloucester Catholic 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Kingsway will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Deptford on Thursday. The Dragons came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 10-5. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

Art Richardson looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
At the plate, Kyle Shields was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Ashton Ford was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Gloucester Catholic never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Gloucester County Tech as they made off with a 16-0 win. Considering the Rams have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Chase Ladik, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Quentin Ricketts, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Gloucester Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .613. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive games.
Kingsway's record is now 17-4. As for Gloucester Catholic, their record now sits at 18-4.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kingsway hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like Gloucester Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .352. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kingsway couldn't quite get it done against Gloucester Catholic in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 10-6. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
