Softball Recap: Kee Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Kee's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Kee Hawks in their meetings with the Go-Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Kee's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kee will take on North Fayette Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge Cedar Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Go-Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
