Jackson's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jackson will venture away from home to challenge Sikeston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will head out to face off against St. Charles West at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Red Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
