Football Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Pebblebrook's offense. They were outmatched by the Hillgrove Hawks and fell 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Hawks are ranked 43rd).

Hillgrove's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zion Williams, who rushed for 11 yards and three scores. Donovan Mack was another key signal caller, throwing for 114 yards and one TD.

This is the second loss in a row for Pebblebrook and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Hillgrove, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

After each having a week off, Pebblebrook and Osborne will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Hillgrove, they will challenge Paulding County at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The Hawks will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.2 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
