Baseball Recap: North Gwinnett Comes Up Short

North Gwinnett and Walton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Gwinnett had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 8-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat on Tuesday.

North Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 35-5. As for Walton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Gwinnett beat Walton by a score of 13-5 later that day.
