Soccer Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stevenson Pirates. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bruins haven't been shut out since back in January.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Stevenson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Greenfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stevenson, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Rancho San Juan on the 22nd.
