Softball Recap: Hominy Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Hominy came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Glenpool Warriors a 4-0 shutout.

Hominy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Glenpool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hominy and Glenpool will both be playing Pawhuska the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Huskies at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Bucks will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
