Soccer Preview: Calistoga vs. Technology        
        
		
             Calistoga hasn't had much luck against Technology recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Calistoga Wildcats will head out to  challenge the Technology Titans  at 4:30  p.m. Calistoga is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3  goals per game  this season.
 Calistoga is headed into the  match having not lost since September 9 and will look to keep things rolling. They put the hurt on Tomales with a sharp  8-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than two  goals this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Their offense was hitting Tomales from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. 
 Hania Cortez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.
 Meanwhile, Technology faced Mendocino in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Technology and Mendocino finished up their  game with  a  0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Titans have been dealt a  draw since  back in August.
 Calistoga is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record  this season. Technology's  draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-2.
 Calistoga might still be hurting after the  4-1 loss they got from Technology  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. Can Calistoga avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
