Soccer Game Preview: Mission San Jose vs. Kennedy

Mission San Jose hasn't had much luck against Kennedy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mission San Jose Warriors will be playing at home against the Kennedy Titans at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mission San Jose's offense. They came up short against American on Thursday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 995th, while the Eagles are ranked 421st).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They never let Irvington onto the board and left with an 11-0 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Jazell Jweinat as she scored six goals for her team.

This is the second loss in a row for Mission San Jose and nudges their season record down to 2-7-1. As for Kennedy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
