Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Takes a Loss

Hilton Head Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the St. Andrew's Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Hilton Head Prep was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made St. Andrew's work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24.

Hilton Head Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Andrew's, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Hilton Head Prep has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Charleston Collegiate on the 5th. As for St. Andrew's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Jenkins on the 2nd.
