Soccer Recap: Cristo Rey Atlanta Extends Winning Streak to Five

Cristo Rey Atlanta proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights. Given Cristo Rey Atlanta's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Elite Scholars Academy is ranked 283rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Juan Flores was the driving force of Cristo Rey Atlanta's attack as he scored both of Cristo Rey Atlanta's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.
