Softball Recap: Grove Takes a Loss

The Grove Ridgerunners didn't have quite enough to beat the Eufaula Ironheads on Wednesday and fell 5-3.

Grove has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-16 record this season. As for Eufaula, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Eufaula has already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Fort Gibson on the 2nd. Hopefully Grove paid attention to the Ironheads' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Ironheads on Thursday.
