After a string of four wins, El Cerrito's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Neither they nor the Oakland Tech Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Gauchos happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 10, 2024.

Emily Murff and Natasha Rudd scored both of El Cerrito's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

With that draw, El Cerrito's record moves to 6-2-2. Meanwhile, Oakland Tech's record is now 3-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Cerrito will head out to face off against De Anza at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Cerrito is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season. As for Oakland Tech, they will venture away from home to challenge Castlemont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
