Softball Recap: Southwest Comes Up Short

Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 24-1 to the Dublin Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in August.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Dublin, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southwest will square off against rival Bleckley County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dublin is set to challenge their familiar foe Washington County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
