Northridge Academy extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Reseda Regents 47-18. Fans of the Pumas have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northridge Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janelle Estrella, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Estrella is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Valerie Farias, who dropped a triple-double with ten points, ten assists, and ten steals.

Northridge Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 18 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

As for Reseda, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Northridge Academy: they've now lost five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Reseda lost, don't look at Marisela Rosales. Despite the final result, she posted eight points.

Northridge Academy has already played their next contest, a 68-10 victory against Chavez on the 4th. As for Reseda, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-5 win against Fulton on the 4th.
