Soccer Recap: Poly Finds Playoff Glory Versus George Washington Prep

With a playoff win on the line, Poly rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the George Washington Prep Generals. Valerie Aguilera was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Poly's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-5. As for George Washington Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Looking ahead, Poly will face off against Smidt Tech at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. George Washington Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
