Baseball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Comes Up Short

Hamilton Southeastern lost to Westfield on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals came up short against the Rocks, falling 12-5. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Bixler made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Nick Bach, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hamilton Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Westfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9-1 record this season.

Hamilton Southeastern will head out to challenge Center Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westfield, they will face off against Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
