University has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 13. They came up short against the Laguna Beach Breakers on Tuesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, University can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 460th, while Laguna Beach are ranked 62nd).

University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-3. As for Laguna Beach, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University is set to face off against their familiar foe Woodbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Laguna Beach will square off against rival Rosary Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
