Wheeler faced Allatoona in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

Wheeler easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

The victory made it two in a row for Wheeler and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Allatoona, they moved to 4-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Wheeler and Allatoona will both be playing North Cobb the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will head out to face the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
