Baseball Recap: Mayville Takes a Loss

Mayville was the 8-5 winner over Brown City when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Devils on Friday.

Mayville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Davidson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Mayville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Brown City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Mayville will head out on the road to face off against Sandusky at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brown City, they will host Capac at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
