Softball Recap: Longmont Comes Up Short

Longmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Air Academy Kadets.

Longmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex McGregor, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Longmont's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Air Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coincidentally, Longmont and Air Academy will both be playing Rocky Mountain the next time they take the field. The Kadets will head out to face the Lobos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
