Arroyo Grande has gone 8-1-1 against Atascadero recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Arroyo Grande Eagles will host the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. Arroyo Grande's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Friday, Arroyo Grande didn't have quite enough to beat St. Joseph and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Knights are ranked 93rd).

Arroyo Grande's goal came courtesy of Isabella Romero, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Atascadero narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Paso Robles 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greyhounds.

Arroyo Grande's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-4 and their overall record down to 8-5-4. As for Atascadero, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-5.

Arroyo Grande skirted past Atascadero 1-0 in their previous matchup back in January. Does Arroyo Grande have another victory up their sleeve, or will Atascadero turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
