Volleyball Recap: Eagle River Wolves vs. Service Cougars
After flying high against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on Friday, Eagle River came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the Service Cougars on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since September 19th.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.
Leading Service to victory were Alana Muese-Iloilo and Jaelyn Lorenzo. Muese-Iloilo had 11 digs and two assists, while Lorenzo had seven digs and three assists.
Eagle River has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 32-14-1 record this season. As for Service, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9-3.
