Volleyball Recap: Central Gwinnett Comes Up Short

Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Shoals Jaguars.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cedar Shoals scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Central Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cedar Shoals, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Central Gwinnett has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dacula on the 4th. As for Cedar Shoals, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Flowery Branch on the 4th.
