Softball Recap: Keokuk Comes Up Short

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Regina Regals. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Regals when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Keokuk's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Regina, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Keokuk wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-1 loss against Clear Creek-Amana on the 28th. As for Regina, they have also already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Carlisle on the 28th.
