Baseball Game Preview: Red Land Patriots vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Red Land Patriots will face off against the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Land is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Red Land didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Cliff and fell 2-1. The Patriots have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Red Land saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Brenner, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt came up short against Oley Valley on Monday and fell 8-5.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Red Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Red Land skirted past Bishop McDevitt 9-7 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
