Basketball Recap: Diamond Takes a Loss

If Diamond was riding high fresh off their 51-29 takedown of Lockwood last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Diamond Wildcats fell to the Pierce City Eagles 53-49. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-49 last Monday.

Diamond's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Pierce City, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

As of now, neither Diamond nor Pierce City have any future games scheduled.
