Stockbridge has gone 8-2 against Hampton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 5:55 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Stockbridge lost 11-5 to Ola on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Jones County, falling 11-0.

Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Stockbridge, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Hampton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stockbridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. It's a different story for Hampton, though, as they've only averaged .333. Will they be able to contain Stockbridge's hitters?

Everything went Stockbridge's way against Hampton in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Stockbridge made off with a 19-3 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
