The Esperanza Aztecs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Beaumont on the road to the tune of 93-51. The win was familiar territory for Esperanza who now have five in a row.
Esperanza found their leader in underclassman Charlotte Muller, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 4 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Muller has scored at least 25% of Esperanza's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madilyn Lam, who scored 14 points along with nine assists and five rebounds.
Esperanza's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Beaumont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
