Soccer Recap: Evergreen Valley Takes a Loss

Evergreen Valley lost against Piedmont Hills back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Evergreen Valley Cougars came up short against the Piedmont Hills Pirates, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Pirates are ranked 162nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Evergreen Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Piedmont Hills, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-3.

Evergreen Valley has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Branham on the 20th. As for Piedmont Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Lincoln on the 20th.
