Soccer Game Preview: Rosamond vs. Kern Valley

The Rosamond Roadrunners will take on the Kern Valley Broncs at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Rosamond managed to keep up with Bishop Union until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Rosamond lost 3-0 to Bishop Union. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 958th, while the Broncos are ranked 340th).

Meanwhile, Kern Valley got the win against Frazier Mountain on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. The Broncs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Frazier Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexandra Armes (4), Aspen Hacker (2), and Kassandra Guarneros.

Rosamond's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-14-1. As for Kern Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1.

Rosamond took their win against Kern Valley when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 3-0. Does Rosamond have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kern Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
