Basketball Recap: Lancaster Country Day Takes a Loss

Lancaster Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Crimson Tide. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lancaster Country Day this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-39 back in January.

Lancaster Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster Country Day will take on Antietam at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster Country Day is facing Antietam at the right time seeing as Antietam is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Columbia, they will square off against Lebanon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
